Based on Luke’s original Sonic Scene episode list (2017), which recorded both the production and the broadcast numbers. His 1993 dates followed production order, so we have re-matched each date to its episode using Wikipedia, Sonic Wiki Zone and Sonic Retro; his old dates are kept in the broadcast-order table. Writer credits follow the on-screen title cards, checked for all 65 episodes against Sonic Retro’s title-card captures (and, for The Last Resort, WildBrain’s official upload).

Who Wrote AoStH

Every AoStH title card credits its writer, which makes the show easy to trace. Twelve episodes in a row, from Robolympics to Road Hog, came from Jeffrey Scott. The writing team of Bruce Shelly and Reed Shelly comes next with 8, and the pair also wrote Sonic Christmas Blast.

Broadcast Order (1993)

AoStH was not broadcast in the order it was made. The run opened on Monday 6 September 1993 with Best Hedgehog (production no. 13) and closed on Friday 3 December with Hero of the Year (no. 60); the first episode produced, Super Special Sonic Search & Smash Squad, aired 23rd. The table below lists all 65 in broadcast order.

The dates come from Wikipedia and Sonic Wiki Zone, which agree with each other and with the broadcast numbers in Luke’s 2017 list. Sonic Retro’s episode list agrees too, except for two dates noted in the table (it also dates the Christmas special to 24 December 1996 rather than 24 November). Because the show was syndicated, individual stations could run it at different times, so treat these as the first-run schedule rather than a guarantee for every city. The last column shows the date Luke’s original list gave each episode – the date it would have had if the show had aired in production order.
