Synopsis

Robotnik is moaning about how useless Scratch and Grounder are when a loud, pushy travelling salesman knocks on his door. Wes Weasley represents a company that sells appliances to super-villains, and the doctor likes his style so much that he starts buying straight away.
First comes the Darkinator, which plunges the area into darkness – just not quite all the way down to the ground, which is all Sonic needs. Then a pair of freeze guns, which the robots manage to use on each other. Each failure costs Robotnik a fortune and makes Wes richer.
Wes’s grand finale is the De-Atomizer. Scratch and Grounder flip its switch the wrong way and, instead of zapping Sonic out of existence, create five extra Sonics – and if one hedgehog is trouble, six are a disaster for the doctor.
Key Moments
- Wes Weasley’s sales pitch at Robotnik’s front door.
- The Darkinator leaves just enough light at ground level for Sonic.
- A reversed De-Atomizer clones Sonic.
