Synopsis

Club Robotnik sounds like a holiday, but it is a trap that turns its guests into the doctor’s slaves. And the resort is only half the scheme: Robotnik also intends to drown Scrap Valley, the dump where his own rejected robots have built a little society of misfits, to make way for “Robotnik Lagoon”.
Sonic and Tails learn this the hard way. Tipped off by Wallace A. Ditso, one of the rejects, Sonic slips aboard the doctor’s blimp as a pizza delivery boy, drops Scratch and Grounder through a trapdoor and still gets caught – just long enough to hear the plan. That the valley’s residents are his own creations means nothing to Robotnik.
Free again, Sonic rallies the scrap robots to sabotage the resort, from the pipes to the buffet, before opening day. The ribbon-cutting goes about as badly as it possibly could for the doctor, and the rejects discover that the faults that got them thrown away are strengths after all.
