Synopsis

Robotnik’s Super Planetary Implosion Machine has just made a whole city disappear, leaving two lion cubs, Jackson and Suzie, without a home. When Scratch and Grounder nearly drop its power source, the BLAMMO, the doctor snaps that a complete idiot could build a better robot. Figuring that they qualify, the pair get to work.
Out of the robot-maker rolls a purple, tricycle-wheeled robot kid they eventually agree to call Robot, who is promptly lumbered with all their chores. When he breaks the dishes Robotnik threatens to recycle him as a popcorn popper, so Robot runs away with a bundle of belongings that happens to include the BLAMMO.
A newspaper ad from his two worried “parents” tells Sonic the runaway is carrying enough power to implode the planet. The chase runs from Jumbo Canyon through a volcano and across a frozen lake, with Robot, befriended by the lion cubs, now on Sonic’s side. At the fortress Sonic rigs the machine to bring the lost city back and implode Robotnik’s base instead, and Robot finds a new home in Scrap Valley.
