Road Hog is episode 57 of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog in production order (production code 238-157), the order used by the DVDs, WildBrain’s official uploads and our episode guide. It was the 52nd episode to air in the 1993 syndicated run, on 16 November 1993. It was written by Jeffrey Scott and directed by Kent Butterworth.
Synopsis
Pulled over for speeding and unable to pay the fine, Sonic and Tails are sentenced to thirty days’ hard labour on a chain gang, where the guards add days every time Tails opens his mouth.
A fellow prisoner, the skunk Colonel Stench, has bred flowers whose pollen makes anyone believe whatever they are told; he proves it by convincing Tails that he is a chicken, then gives him the antidote. Strangers stole his flowers and had him locked up – and Robotnik is now loading the pollen into a blimp to persuade the whole planet that he is its ruler.
When the pollen gets to Sonic, he forgets who he is and rides off with a gang of biker hogs. Tails tracks him down and reminds him that he is Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic leads his new biker friends against Robotnik’s pollen plant.
