Synopsis

Breakfast at the fortress is hotcakes instead of eggs, and Robotnik is furious – until he realises what day it is. It is Sonic’s birthday, and the doctor has the perfect present: Mobiusland, the local amusement park, emptied of visitors and with every ride turned into a trap.
Sonic, meanwhile, is playing it cool at the food court, pretending that only Tails remembered while letting the audience know he expects a surprise. When a big mouse – Scratch in costume – hands him a free ticket to the park, he assumes that is it and dashes off. Tails comes back with Miss Possum and the gang to an empty table.
Behind the gates, now renamed Robotnikland, the exits are sealed with tempered steel, so Sonic makes the most of it. He beats the doctor at giant pinball, leaves Scratch and Grounder to the robot jungle cruise and pulls his friends off a deadly roller coaster. Trapped in a huge birthday cake with dynamite candles, he blows them out with steam, straight at the villains, and the park becomes Sonicland.
