Synopsis
Station Square wants to meet its new hero, and Tails needs Ella and Mr. Tanaka to help him escape the crowds. Gamma, meanwhile, has been thinking about his brothers and about Amy. He deletes Eggman’s control over himself and gives himself a new mission: to find the other E-100 robots and free the animals inside them.
He tracks down Delta and Epsilon and shuts them down, releasing their birds, then returns to the Egg Carrier for Beta, rebuilt, upgraded and as loyal to Eggman as ever. Amy and Lily follow, still searching for Lily’s family. Elsewhere, Sonic follows Tikal’s spirit into the overgrown temple and is shown Angel Island in flames, as Tikal runs to the Master Emerald to stop her father.
Gamma’s last battle with Beta leaves both robots destroyed, and the birds inside fly free – among them Lily’s lost family. Through her tears, Amy promises Gamma she will always remember him. Far away, Eggman curses Sonic and turns back to Chaos, and Knuckles watches a storm gather over Angel Island.
