Synopsis

A bolt of lightning tears open a portal to another dimension, and a small black blob tumbles out and follows Sonic home. Tails names him Goopster and adopts him on the spot. Goopster even helps fight off Scratch and Grounder’s fighter planes.
There is a catch. Goopster eats nothing but chili dogs, and when he is hungry he grows huge and starts sucking up everything around him like a black hole. Sonic sacrifices his own chili-dog stash to calm him down and works out that the creature belongs in another dimension.
Before he can send Goopster home, Scratch and Grounder kidnap him for Robotnik, who plans to use the living black hole to dispose of Sonic and seize Mobius. Sonic and Tails storm the fortress to rescue their friend and take him home – a trip that sends them spinning through the limbo between dimensions.
