Synopsis

Scratch and Grounder test Robotnik’s latest invention, a suction plate strong enough to hold even Sonic to the ground. Its beam shoots into the sky just as Prince Charnock and his anxious adviser Splorg are flying past on their way home, and their ship is pulled down and wrecked.
Sonic and Tails rescue the aliens from the robots, and Splorg explains the problem: if the prince is not back on Rhombus within two hours for his coronation, his baby brother takes the throne – and is likely to have Mobius destroyed.
Sonic agrees to help rebuild the ship, while Robotnik wants his device back and Charnock would rather be taking holiday snaps. Dodging the robots and the doctor’s gadget, Sonic and Tails get the rocket fixed and blast the prince home in time.
