Synopsis

Robotnik has a cousin, and he holds a grudge. Five years ago the doctor dumped Dr. Warpnik in the Warp of Confusion, a crooked, Escher-like dimension swimming with fish, and Warpnik has spent every day since watching Mobius through his telescope and waiting for a way to get even.
His chance comes from a squabble between friends. A lone chili dog ringed by three rival traps from Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts is no match for Sonic, but Tails ignores his order to wait behind and gets grabbed. Sonic gets him back, gives him a telling-off, then admits how much the little fox matters to him – and Warpnik, watching, knows exactly which buttons to push.
Next morning Tails has vanished. Robotnik denies all knowledge while his robots creep up behind Sonic, then follows the hedgehog into the warp, where fish fights and a monster-making cannon turn the place into chaos. Sonic and Tails slip out, and the two cousins are left stuck with each other.
