Synopsis

In a desert town, two potters are discussing Robotnik’s downfall when a beam turns them into fools. The doctor has unleashed his Stupidity Ray, reasoning that a planet of idiots will never stop him. He even zaps Scratch by accident, which, he notes, makes no difference at all.
Two other characters spot opportunities in the ray. Sergeant Doberman sees how obedient it makes his lazy recruits, and Wes Weasley sees how easily a stupefied customer buys his blank encyclopedias. Both want the machine.
So when Sonic and Tails make for the Pinball Fortress, Robotnik’s new base, Wes and the sergeant – who cannot stand the sight of each other – are racing them there. Bounced around the giant pinball machine and confronted by a scorpion robot, the unlikely trio have to work together to wreck the ray.
