Synopsis
In the ruins of Eggman’s old fortress, Bokkun switches on an ancient robot called Emerl and sets off on a mission of his own: with Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe stuck in prison, Bokkun is their breakout team. Emerl’s power drives the tank he throws at Sonic down at a shipping yard.
At the mansion, Amy storms in: Sonic has forgotten their date. Sam Speed turns up looking for his racing rival too, so the two jilted parties go for a drive together. Sam is more interested in his car than in listening, and Amy agrees to stop talking about Sonic – but as the speedometer climbs, she begins to see why he loves running so much.
Heading for the beach, they meet an unmanned Eggman bomb tank rolling towards the city, and Sam cuts across country to head it off so that Amy can flatten it with her hammer; Bokkun ends up behind bars with the boss he was meant to free. Sonic finally appears at the beach, sidesteps Amy’s hug and races off with Sam, leaving her fuming about the worst date ever. At the mansion, Cream and Cheese find Emerl in the garden.
