It is number 3 in production order – the order TF1 first showed the series in France, where it premiered on 13 January 1999 – and it was the third episode to air in the United States, on 1 September 1999. Synopsis

It is the triplets’ birthday, and a tip that the Queen may be in Mobodoon sends them through a blighted forest to find its portal, which opens only once every four years under a full moon. Sonia moans about the mud, one of the trees turns out to be Dingo in disguise, and the villains slip through the portal behind the heroes.
Mobodoon is a bright, festive town where nobody uses money and everyone shares. Mayor Whinnyham, an old friend of the Queen, leads Manic to a nursery with three cribs decorated with the siblings’ pictures. This is where they were born. Sonic grew up with a family and Sonia among the rich, but Manic was raised in the sewers of Robotropolis, and for the first time he feels at home. He announces that he is staying.
The homecoming party is cut short when Sleet and Dingo demand back taxes from a town with no money, then start carrying off its treasures, including the Power Stone that keeps Mobodoon alive. Once the villains are beaten, Manic changes his mind. Home, he decides, is wherever his brother and sister are, and the band needs its drummer.
