Synopsis
Fed Up with Antoine
Antoine takes up martial arts and promptly flattens half of Knothole, so Sonic sends him off to practise in the woods. There he runs into the Nasty Hyenas, a biker gang so impressed by his “unique style” that they crown him their king. Basking in their devotion, Antoine insults his friends and quits the Freedom Fighters.
Then the gang reveals its oldest tradition: the hyenas eat their kings. Antoine ends up in a cooking pot, arguing about the seasoning, until Sonic, Sally, Bunnie and Dulcy come to the rescue.
Ghost Busted
Sonic and Antoine take Tails into the woods for his first Freedom Fighter training camp, learning to track by broken branches, flattened grass – and Antoine’s cologne. Around the campfire Sonic tells the tale of the Headless Gopher with a Gold Medallion, which scares Tails and Antoine alike.
When Antoine goes missing in the night, Tails is sure the ghost has taken him. By morning everyone agrees there are no such things as ghosts – until Tails finds a gold medallion under his sleeping bag and a mysterious laugh sends all three running.
Two comical 11-minute episodes about Antoine. Fed Up with Antoine focuses on his lifestyle, and how he gets captured by a group of motorcycle-riding hyenas. Can Sonic save him? Ghost Busted is about a campfire story during a training mission with Sonic, Tails, and Antoine. Ghost Busted would later be adapted as a story in Sonic Super Special Issue 8 by Archie Comics.
