Synopsis
With Eggman on the loose after his jailbreak in “Mean Machines”, the whole city is hunting him. Mr. Stewart, the teacher who first entered Chris’ life as an undercover agent, slips back into spy mode, and Chris, Cream, Emerl and Chris’ classmates Helen, Danny and Frances tag along on the investigation.
The trail leads beneath the streets to the doctor’s secret hideout in the sewers, where the whole group is caught. Mr. Stewart frees everyone and leads the search for a way out, but Eggman’s Egg Spider robot is lying in wait.
Back home, Chuck notices that Cream, Chris and Emerl are missing, and Sonic arrives with Rouge and Topaz in time to take on the spider. Emerl picks up Rouge’s kick and joins in, and everyone escapes the sewers. Eggman slips away once more, carrying off a pile of books – research, it turns out, for his next big plan.
