Synopsis

Story time in Mobius City Park goes badly wrong when Sonic and Tails race through it with Robotnik behind them. Scratch and Grounder’s Portable Portal Transporter fires at the worst possible moment, and Sonic, Tails and the doctor are zapped into Miss Saccharine’s book of fairy tales.
Inside, the stories bend around them. In “Hansel and Nettle” the house is made of chili dogs and the witch is Robotnik; in “Snow Height and the Seven Squatty Guys” Sonic and Tails are two of the squatty guys, and Tails gulps down the poisoned chili dog meant for the princess. Out in the real world, Miss Saccharine cannot understand why her book has changed, and Grounder, sitting with the children, likes the new version far too much to fix the machine.
With Robotnik rewriting the tales as he goes – he even steals a magic wand and turns the princess into a toad – Sonic and Tails have to steer each story to a happy ending before they can find the way home.
