The siblings are still struggling with Thelonious’s lessons in harmony – the key to their medallions’ full power – when a vision interrupts: Trevor, a friend from the Resistance, has been captured. Against the monk’s advice, they rush home.

Back in Robotropolis, Manic’s thieving know-how gets them into Robotnik’s citadel through secret tunnels, where they glimpse Bartleby being grilled about Sonia. They free Trevor and learn that Sleet and Dingo have gone after the Oracle; Robotnik, shown footage of the siblings in training, is sure the Oracle is behind them. Trevor creates a diversion while the three steal a ship, and when Robotnik triggers its self-destruct, an override key Manic pocketed earlier gets them out.

The trip to the Oracle’s cave turns into a shouting match until a vision of their mother tells them to stop blaming each other and pull together. They do, and Manic’s earth-cracking drums shake Sleet, Dingo and the robots out of the cave. Afterwards Aleena and the Oracle reveal that the Oracle was never in danger: the rescue was the siblings’ final lesson.

The Song: “We’re All in This Together”

“We’re All in This Together” arrives once the siblings stop blaming each other, the moment the trilogy has been building to.
