Synopsis

Sonic is delighted to run into Cyrus, an old friend and gifted technician who appears to have joined the Resistance. What Sonic doesn’t know is that Robotnik has Cyrus’s father, and that Cyrus has been ordered to win the hedgehogs’ trust and lead them into a trap.
Cyrus plays his part, asking for help to free his father while quietly feeding the plan to Robotnik. But the mission takes him to the Freedom Fighters’ Sanctuary, and when he sees that it is a refuge for the Resistance’s children, he cannot go through with it. He destroys the communicator that links him to Robotnik.
With Cyrus on their side, the siblings turn the trap around. His little flying drones help wreck another of Robotnik’s Swatbot factories, and Sleet and Dingo end the day covered head to toe in flour. The episode closes with the hedgehogs gathering round a guilt-stricken Cyrus to talk about trust.
