Synopsis

The Final Mova finishes turning into a giant seed and shrugs off all that Sonic and Shadow can throw at it. Its waves start draining animals and robots across the galaxy while plants run wild. Eggman thinks the drained Chaos Emeralds, gathered up by the Chaotix, could be recharged, and Cosmo – of the same race as the Metarex, and unharmed by the waves – sets off to carry them.
Dark Oak’s vines catch her and the gems fall into space, where the Planet Eggs inside the seed react to them, stopping the waves and recharging the Emeralds. Setting their differences aside, Sonic and Shadow become Super Sonic and Super Shadow and rip the seed apart – but Dark Oak survives, crushing its core into a blast that could destroy the universe.
In Cosmo’s mind, her mother Earthia tells her that saving the galaxy is her destiny. Cosmo transforms, roots herself on the core as a tree to hold Dark Oak still, and asks Tails to fire the Sonic Driver with both super hedgehogs inside. After agonising, Tails says goodbye and presses the button.
