Synopsis

Back at base after a bombing raid on Robotropolis, the siblings find a glowing note from Queen Aleena. Robotnik is putting up a hydroelectric dam in the south of Mobius, and getting away with it because two groups of Freedom Fighters, the Valley Folk and the Mountain Folk, are too busy feuding to stop him.
To win the Valley Folk’s trust, Sonic races their fastest runner, Jarod, stopping to smell a flower before scorching past him. The feud, Jarod explains, began when the Mountain Folk lost their half of a gold medallion the Queen gave both groups and accused the valley of stealing it. A huge Guardian Bot protects the dam, so the hedgehogs need both sides, but Granny, the Mountain Folk’s leader, refuses to make peace. Sleet and Dingo, meanwhile, plan to capture the hedgehogs and sell them to Robotnik themselves.
The missing medallion turns up: Granny had tucked it away for safekeeping while dancing with Zeb of the Valley Folk. The two sides unite against the dam, and the medallion halves, put together, form a map left by Aleena.
