Chris’ father treats everyone to a cruise among the glaciers, and all of them love it except Sonic, who has nowhere to run and pleads seasickness to get off. Nelson’s cure is a group of senior citizens who set about teaching the hedgehog the art of taking it easy.

Eggman, meanwhile, can’t get the old Egg Fort off the ground, so he builds three flying sections that lock together into the Egg Fort II. Bokkun announces it at the Thorndyke mansion with his usual parting gift, a bomb, which goes off in Ella’s face.

When the Egg Fort II catches up with the ship, Sonic keeps slipping on the ice until one of his new elderly friends helps him find his footing. Then Bokkun turns up in tears, fleeing an enraged Ella – who flies in on the X-Tornado and, with a little help from Sonic, sends Eggman packing. By the end, Sonic decides to stay aboard and relax.
